Hi, I’m Jon.

I’m a veteran youth pastor with over 21 years of experience—which basically means I’ve mastered the art of ordering bulk pizza, untangling mic cords with one hand, and answering awkward theological questions from seventh graders while holding a half-eaten cookie.

I lead a thriving multi-site youth ministry that’s all about helping students become authentic followers of Jesus. I hold a Master’s in Youth and Young Adult Ministry from the Coalition for Youth Ministry Leadership and spend part of my time mentoring youth workers across Western Canada.

Outside of ministry, I’m married to my amazing wife, Heather, and together we’re raising four awesome (and energetic) kids: Jayden, Dante, Nick, and Lilly.  They keep me grounded, laughing, and occasionally hiding in the garage for five quiet minutes.

Equipping leaders and building ministries that actually make disciples is my heartbeat. That passion led me to write Youth Ministry Blueprint—a practical, honest, and slightly caffeinated guide to creating effective, sustainable ministries that disciple students and transform communities.
